The Kita APX is a stiff, high-performance snowboard boot equipped with a dual BOA lacing system. The innovative Dual BOA WrapStrap system locks your foot in with unmatched precision and support, while the stiff flex powers you through steep descents, big landings, and aggressive turns. The Dual BOA Wrap Strap lacing system includes one dial for adjusting the upper zone and another for the lower part of the boot, ensuring even pressure distribution across the foot. A 3D PermaFlex tongue ensures consistent flex from your very first run to the last, while the boot’s asymmetric design provides a natural, ergonomic fit that locks seamlessly into your bindings. Packed with Premium features like heel cushioning, thermal insulation, a Vibram sole, and Nidecker’s best liner. Wherever possible, the seams are welded rather than stitched, providing a unique seamless construction that enhances waterproofness. The toe box also features a durable TPU protection called ArmorTech, which shields your toes when hiking and walking.

Technical Information:
Dual BOA Wrap Strap H4 Coiler Lacing: Fast and durable BOA lacing system with a twist. This closure system provides incredible all-over support and even pressure distribution. The upper laces and built-in power strap are controlled via a BOA H4 dial. The forefoot is tightened using a separate low profile dial.
Vibram Approach Outsole:
Premium outsole combines full EVA midsole cushioning with an OC-Kush heel insert for supreme comfort. The Vibram ICE-TREK tread is made from a rubber compound especially developed for winter conditions, delivering unrivaled grip.
Gold Liner: A pressure-free liner that is easy to put on and take off. Features Velcro straps on both sides to prevent tongue rotation and a customizable flex zone around the toes for freedom of movement. The liner is stiffer for faster power transfer and additional support. It can also be molded if needed to address pressure points.
Ortholite X40 Sole: An advanced OrthoLite X40 footbed features dual-density construction and premium cushioning that maintains its bounce, eliminating fatigue on the longest days.
Asym 3F: Asymmetric design and lacing system provide significant support and flex. The BOA lacing is asymmetrically placed to reduce pressure points and increase medial support at the arch to reduce foot fatigue and cramps.
Articulating Flex Zone: The upper part of the boot is asymmetrically connected to the lower part, allowing the ankle to flex naturally while providing support without distorting the shell. A thermal insulating barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps warmth in and cold out.
1:1 Lasting: The new last features an 8° forward lean, striking the perfect balance between comfort and performance. The 1:1 last means a specific liner, shell, and footbed for each full and half size. Separate lasts are used for men’s, women’s, and youth’s boots for complete anatomical accuracy.
3D Molded Toebox: Reinforced toebox without extra layers and seams around the forefoot for increased durability and a streamlined design. It also makes it easier to slide in and out of bindings.
3D Molded Tongue: An anatomically correct and asymmetric tongue that performs better than a traditional flat one.
Armor-Tech: A TPU strip wraps around the front of the boot to protect against wear, safeguard your toes when walking, and reduce boot pack-out.
Exo/Spine: Heel reinforcement that provides additional support and durability. Enhances power transfer from toe to heel, with a smooth transition zone for easy entry and exit from bindings.
Space Blanket: A thermal insulation barrier between the sole and the bottom of the liner to keep warmth in and cold out.
