Nidecker has been around since the 19th century, but it wasn't until 1984 that snowboards began to be manufactured. Today, Nidecker is the world's oldest action sports company. Since the beginning, the Swiss family Nidecker has been at the forefront in product development and is today a snowboard brand to count on. Even more, it is the 5th generation Nidecker sons who control the company and ensure to deliver top quality snowboarding products.
The product that has generated the most interest recently is the Supermatic, a direct competitor to Burton Step On.
Supermatic Step In is the fastest option available and works just like Burton Step On, with the difference that it still has straps and can be used with regular snowboard boots. When using a Supermatic binding, you simply slide your foot into the binding and press down, and you're ready to go. To exit the binding, you pull a lever. During the first 3-4 runs, you may need to adjust the strap sizes to find the right fit, but after that, it's extremely fast.
Nidecker also offers high-quality snowboards and boots. The boards incorporate the same technology as other snowboard brands. All Nidecker boots, snowboard boots, or whatever you want to call them, feature the well-known BOA lacing system.
