Where do you prefer to ride and why?
It's very difficult to choose just one place, but if I have to choose, it would probably be Kläppen. Kläppen has a fun park where you can take many laps, you hardly ever have to wait! Absolutely fantastic!

What's the best thing about snowboarding?
The best thing about snowboarding, in my opinion, is the sense of community that comes with it. Having so many people with the same interest who together create a wonderful community is definitely the best!

What do you do when you're not snowboarding?
A difficult question to answer. Here I probably answer like any other kid. I usually hang out with friends, family, and scroll through Instagram. And eat tacos, can't forget that.

Favorite snack to bring to the slopes?
Corny Big is definitely my favorite snack to bring to the slopes. I don't even want to know how many I've eaten this season, it's a scary number.

Favorite rider and why?
Ylfa Rúnarsdóttir is my favorite rider. She's a very talented rider, but above all, a joy to be around. She has made so many of my days on the board much more fun and educational. I always enjoy riding with her!

Where are you from?
Monchegorsk, Russia

When did you start snowboarding?
2008

Home resort?
Levi (Finland)

Where do you prefer to ride and why?
Levi (Finland) is probably my favorite place, and not just because the park is so ridiculously long and good, but because the whole Levi is a wonderful place to live in. It's close to everything like nature, the store, the slope, friends, etc. The surroundings are very easy to handle. I feel free and can fully focus on snowboarding, thanks to Levi for giving me the opportunity to live and solely focus on snowboarding.

What's the best thing about snowboarding?
I could probably write a whole book about this. But to keep it short, it's the freedom of gliding around in the present moment and learning from everything you experience while snowboarding, which is also helpful for life and the future. You have infinite possibilities that open up and give a broader perspective on what life is all about for an individual.

What do you do when you're not snowboarding?
Since you learn so much every year, you also learn to give your body a little break, which has actually been difficult for me. I became so dependent on physical activities that I started feeling bad when I wasn't moving. So when I'm not snowboarding, I'm at the gym flipping around or training. And in summers, I skate and train full-on. Now I feel more inclined towards mental training, calmness, living, and enjoying the little things you get outdoors in nature, with friends, and with family. Active rest, gym, reading books, jotting down thoughts, personal development, and mentally and physically preparing for the next season.

Favorite snack to bring to the slopes?
Fruits, a few bananas, a few apples, a few oranges, and water.

Favorite rider and why?
I enjoy watching and taking inspiration from most riders, not necessarily limited to the snowboarding world. Those who are open to the infinity of possibilities are probably my favorites.

If you had to do one trick for the rest of your life, which trick would it be?
It's hard to believe that you can do one trick for the rest of your life and be happy. But just flying around and doing "straight airs" is the most ultimate/fundamental trick that you will never stop doing. There is also a quote that says, "If you want to learn something new, read an old book."

What setup do you ride with?
Nitro Quiver Basher and Optisym board, Nitro One bindings, and Vans boots.

Where do you prefer to ride and why?
I prefer to ride at home in Kläppen Snowpark. Most of my friends are there, and there's always someone to ride with. It has a short and fast lift in the middle, so you can almost always see what your friends are doing in their runs, creating a great community with lots of stoke and love.
But if it's May, then I prefer to ride in Riksgränsen. The atmosphere and community that are created in Riksgränsen are the best. Not to mention the unique terrain that Riksgränsen offers.

The absolute best thing about snowboarding is getting to meet and get to know so many amazing people and experiencing incredible places thanks to snowboarding.
