The Alternator is a very quick and stabile snowboard for long and lovely runs all over the mountain. It’s the perfect boards for long carves, powder, side hits or dropping cliffs. The Alternator is an directional snowboard with a Trüe Camber profile which gives it a lof of pop, response and stability at high speeds. The Dual Degressive sidecut and the Powerlite Core gives a lot of edge control and makes initiating turn very easy.The Alternator is a combination of the Nitro Banker, Mountain and Team. In other words it’s a very fast, stabile and versatile snowboard with great float in powder and a lot of pop.

In North America it’s trendy to ride directional boards for freestyle riding. The Alternator is the team favorite in that regard.

The board is waxed and tuned at the factory, ready for the mountain!

Flex: All Terrain 7/10
Our most versatile flex pattern, combining Nitro’s signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to tear up the entire mountain. Flex 1/10 is soft and playful whilst 10/10 is stiff and responsive.

Dual Degressive Sidecut: This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro ́s most forgiving sidecut.

Trüe Camber: Trüe Camber is good old standard camber, which provides the stability, and pop many shreds can ́t live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. Our Trüe Camber varies between board models because each board is specifically designed for a certain terrain or type of riding, for example the Trüe Camber in our Pantera has a larger height for maximum response, while the Trüe Camber in our freestyle boards are lower to provide you with a more freestyle friendly flex, without losing the support and trust you need for stomping landings. Sintered Speed Formula II Base: Rocket science put to work! A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into our sintered base material makes the base surface lightning fast in all snow conditions. Wax: All NITRO boards are factory-tuned with Kandahars 100% Natural Speed Wax, a fully Bio-degradable wax made of renewable resources.

Snowboard binding - Nitro Step On Mens M
Nitro Step On is the snowboard binding for the riders who want fast, smooth, and responsive riding with maximized time snowboarding down the mountain without any struggle. No complicated steps at the lift or straps to step on; you simply click your foot in and you're ready to ride in seconds. There are three smart contact points: two at the toes and one at the heel. To exit the binding, you pull a lever, and that's the only time you'll need to bend down.

Nitro’s binding features Air Plus cushioning made from ETPU, which stores energy and helps you pop higher and land more comfortably. Compatible with Burton’s Step On system, Nitro Step On gives you the freedom to pair it with boots from both Nitro and Burton. However, please note that Step On bindings only work with Step On boots.

Keep in mind that Step On bindings and boots are made in gender-specific sizes and are only compatible with each other. Carefully study the size guide, as it’s essential to have the correct size between boots and bindings, otherwise it could result in functional and safety issues.
