If you have a foot that is 27cm long, you should choose a snowboard boot that is around 28-28,5 cm in boot size. 1 cm up works best for most people. Snowboard boots should have a tight fit, they will pack out 3-5 mm.

NOTE!
Keep in mind that the Step On binding only fits Step On boots and vice versa. Match your bindings and boots together. Step On bindings are ONLY compatible with Step On boots. Do not use your Step On boots or Step On bindings with anything other than Step On.
Size matters a lot!
Double check the size guide to make sure you have the right binding for the right boots. Mixing sizes of bindings and boots will result in malfunctions and safety may be compromised.
Also, men and women sizes are gender specific for a reason. Combining Step On boots and bindings for men and women will also result in malfunction.
It is important to attach your pants to the clip on the back of the boots, forgetting this will ruin your pants and it may be difficult to get out.

Lacing System:
The Burton Highshot X Step On comes with the DUAL BOA® system for easy and quick lacing.
Inner Shoe:
Burton's Highshot X Step On comes with an imprint 3 inner shoe that molds perfectly to the foot and is even moldable in the oven. The inner lacing goes around the entire ankle and up to the ankle for maximum heel grip. To sit even better in the boots, Burton has added Velcro at the beginning of the inner shoe that hugs your calves for even better stability.
If you are a cold person, the Highshot X Step On comes with 3M™ Thinsulate™ which is a lightweight membrane that retains heat from the body but is breathable.
Cushioning:
Under the sole of the Burton Highshot X is a foil that reflects back the heat on cold days on the mountain. To avoid wearing out your poor knees and heels, the Highshot X is equipped with ReBounce cushioning which provides maximum comfort and does not harden in cold temperatures.
Outsole:
Vibram outsole in 30% recycled rubber, for hard-to-beat grip and cushioning. The Step On outsole has three attachments on the boots, two in the front and one in the heel, which are securely attached when you stand in the binding. The EST® optimized midsole lowers you lower into the boot which contributes to a better board feel and minimizes heel and toe strike.
Comfort:
The boots have the perfect "break-in feel" right from the start. Instead of struggling to break in your boots for two weeks, the boots are super comfortable right from the start. (The bottom of the boot is completely snowproof and keeps you warm for a whole day on the mountain)
