Snowboard - Capita Dark Horse 154
Dark Horse is a new, wallet-friendly version of the team favorite Outsiders - built to dominate park jumps, side hits and other freestyle features. It's stripped down to only the technical components you really need. With its dynamic design, Dark Horse delivers maximum power and performance.
This board combines low weight and flex in a construction that keeps the budget down. Thanks to the proven combination of Dual Core™, Special Blend Fiberglass and reinforcements in the form of 2 x 30 mm Carbon Aramid Boosters.
Capita Dark Horse is hand-built in Austria in their factory Mothership which is powered by 100% renewable energy.
The board is waxed and sanded at the factory, ready for the slopes!
Flex: Twin flex 6/10
Versatile flex and adapted to handle the whole mountain.
The scale is built on the principle that 1 is "Soft and Playful" while 10 is "Hard and Responsive"
Area of use:
Resort / Freestyle - A board to rely on all over the mountain but which has a preference for piste and park.
Recommended level:
Beginner-Intermediate
Shape:
Twin: Nose and tail are identical and the bindings are centered on the board. The same shape, flex and camber at both ends. This is so that you can have identical feel in both directions.
Radial Sidecut: The most common sidecut. Radial sidecut is a smooth side cut that goes from one contact surface to the other. Radial sidecut makes it easy to turn and carve on the slope without getting the wrong cut.
Profile:
Camber: Park V1
Camber span that ends about 4 cm before the riding surface and goes over to zero camber. The flat span makes the board playful and easy to ride while the camber span makes it stable with good pop.
Construction:
Dual core: Lightweight poplar combined with beech for pop and strength.
2x30mm Carbon Aramid Boosters: Carbon fiber reinforcement
Holysheet Fiberglass + Magic Bean Resin: A plant-based glue - Good for the environment!
Superdrive Base: A sintered coating that has the benefits of an extruded coating. Requires less maintenance and is relatively fast.
