Snowboard - Capita Spring Break Stairmaster 158W
Capita Spring Break Stairmaster is a modern version of a true classic from Capita's history. The model was originally developed for freestyle riders with a clear skateboard-influenced approach: simple, durable and proven construction without unnecessary details. Now the Stairmaster is back under Spring Break Snowboards, with Corey Smith as the creative force behind the series' expression.
The Stairmaster is an energetic park and resort board for those who want plenty of pop, stability and control without the board being too hard or demanding. Its symmetrical True Twin shape means it feels the same no matter which way you ride, which is perfect for switch riding, jumps, rails and technical tricks.
The Park V1 profile combines traditional camber with short flat sections towards the nose and tail. The camber provides powerful pop, stable landings and good edge grip, while the flat sections make turns more controlled and the board less aggressive when pushing rails or riding through the park.
The Capita Stairmaster is hand-built in Austria at The Mothership™, where production is powered by 100% clean energy from solar and hydro power.
The Stairmaster Wide is a wider version/waist that fits you with bigger feet (EUR 44+). With a wider waist, you minimize the chance of your toes or heels catching the snow during deep turns.
The board is waxed and sanded at the factory, ready for the slopes!
Flex: Twin 5.5/10
A balanced medium flex that provides enough support for bigger jumps and stable landings, while still being flexible enough for presses, rails and playful park riding.
The scale is built on the principle that 1 is "Soft and playful" while 10 is "Hard and responsive".
Area of use: Park and resort
The Stairmaster is designed for progressive freestyle skiing, but also works well for regular skiing on the piste. It thrives on jumps, rails, sidehits and creative lines throughout the resort. The True Twin shape and balanced flex make it easy to switch between regular and switch.
Recommended level: Intermediate-Advanced
Best suited for riders who already have basic control and want to develop their freestyle riding. The medium-stiff flex provides stability for more advanced tricks without feeling overly demanding.
Shape: True Twin
Fully symmetrical shape with centered stance. The nose and tail have the same dimensions and flex, giving an identical feel when riding regular or switch.
Profile: Traditional camber Park V1
Park V1 has traditional camber through most of the board that transitions to flat sections about four centimeters before the end of the sidecut. The profile provides the pop and response of a classic camber board, but with smoother turn initiation and a more controlled feel towards the nose and tail.
Construction:
Dual Core™:
A light and lively core of poplar and beech. Poplar provides a smooth and predictable flex while beech reinforces vulnerable areas and contributes extra power and durability.
4 x 20 mm Carbon Aramid Boosters:
Four carbon and aramid reinforcements that increase the board's pop, response and durability without adding unnecessary weight.
Special Blend Fiberglass:
A proven fiberglass construction that provides a balanced combination of strength, flexibility and light weight.
Magic Bean™ Resin:
A plant-based resin that creates a strong and responsive construction with less weight.
Superdrive™ ADV Base:
A fast and durable base that combines performance with easy maintenance. A good choice for park riding where the board is exposed to a lot of wear.
