Abstract is a playful and versatile snowboard designed for riders who want to hang out in the park but at the same time have a board that works all over the mountain.
Abstract delivers a nice mix of stability and playfulness, making it a reliable partner whether you're riding rails, jumps or cruising around the piste.
Designed for riders who want to combine creative freestyle with progression. Abstract is suitable for the park rider who wants to develop and at the same time have a board that can handle more than just the park.

Medium park flex, perfect for presses but stable enough for the jumps.
Usage:
Abstract is for the rider who wants a park focused board but with all-mountain characteristics.

Shape:
Twin: The nose and tail are identical and the bindings are centered on the board. The same shape, flex and camber at both ends. This is so that you can ride equally well in both directions.
Quatralizer sidecut: Explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic for high speed carving and great edge control in tight spaces.
Profile:
Rock Out Camber: Camber with early transition to Nos and tail. This makes for a playful board that really turns and is forgiving.
Construction:
Fiber & HARTS - Glass fibers made in Europe make the board light and lively.
Sintered Base: Sintered base for ultimate glide and better wax absorption. On top of this is a medium structure to make the board glide even better in all snow conditions, from cold corduroy to spring slush. Salomon uses a paraffin-free wax made from natural ingredients for the best glide and to save the environment.
Popster: The core is milled at strategic points for a more natural flex underfoot that transfers energy to the nose and tail for extra pop.
