Snowboard Binding – Nidecker Supermatic Carbon Step In Black
The Nidecker Supermatic Carbon is the latest hot binding on the market. It’s a Step In binding that has virtually eliminated all the drawbacks of Step In systems. The Supermatic Carbon is incredibly fast and easy to use while fitting standard snowboard boots perfectly. It excels in powder, offers great comfort, and performs exceptionally well.
The reason to choose a Step In binding is the speed and ease of entry. To secure yourself in the Supermatic binding, simply slide your foot into the binding and push down. To exit, pull a lever (Release Lever) and remove your foot. No special boots are required for the Nidecker Supermatic Carbon; regular snowboard boots work just fine. Getting in and out of the Supermatic is truly effortless. Learn more about the features that make it so easy, including the Asym Hadron Reclining Highback, Hybrid ExoFrame Powerstrap, Active Strap, Heelcup Roller, Heel Pedal, Release Lever, and Slip-N-Grip Plate.
The Supermatic Carbon is a stiffer, lighter, and more responsive version of the popular Supermatic. It features a full-coverage strap (Hybrid ExoFrame Powerstrap) that distributes pressure evenly over the foot and is very comfortable. You can also adjust the size of the strap to fit your foot perfectly. If you get stuck in deep powder, you can also tighten the binding like a traditional snowboard binding thanks to the LSR-Buckles.
The Supermatic Carbon provides a solid, fast response both forward and backward, while offering a bit more flex sideways. The footbed is padded to reduce vibrations and prevent slipping within the binding. If you're looking for a snowboard binding to carve with that’s as lightweight and quick to use as ski bindings, the Nidecker Supermatic Carbon is worth considering.
We recommend matching the stiffness (Respons Rating/Flex) of your snowboard, binding, and boots to achieve the best synergy between your equipment. Ask us if you need assistance!

Technical Information:
2.5° Canted Footbed: The base plate is canted 2.5° for a more ergonomic stance during long days on the slopes.
Multidisc (2x4, 4x4, 3D, Channel): The binding comes with a disc compatible with 2x4, 4x4, 3D, and Burton Channel.
Carbon S Ultraback: The Supermatic’s highback is a fold-down, asymmetrically molded highback made from nylon and carbon. It folds completely down, creating the fastest automatic Step In system for easy foot entry. The highback provides excellent support and comfort.
Hybrid ExoFrame PowerStrap: The Supermatic’s straps are designed to feel like two straps fused together. This design makes it easier to step in and out of the binding while transferring power more efficiently without needing to tighten the straps too much.
Active Strap: To make it even easier to get in and out of the Supermatic, it uses the Active Strap. When you lower the highback, the strap also lifts to facilitate easier entry and exit.
LSR Buckles: Locking buckles that can be set to your perfect adjustment and never need to be adjusted again, or they can be used like traditional snowboard buckles if you get stuck in very deep snow.
Heelcup Roller: Under the highback, there’s a roller that helps with entering and exiting the binding and guides the boot into place.
Heel Pedal: Located at the heel, the Heel Pedal is a locking mechanism that engages with the pressure from your snowboard boots, locking the binding into position. The Heel Pedal is self-cleaning so that snow doesn’t prevent it from locking. It has three locking positions that click into place.
Release Lever: To exit the Supermatic, press the lever and pull your foot out of the binding.
Slip-N-Grip Plate: The Slip-N-Grip Plate is a glossy, slippery plate on the footbed that makes it easier to get in and out of the binding.
