Snowboardbindning – Nidecker Supermatic LT Step In Black

Nidecker Supermatic LT is a Step In binding that has largely eliminated all the drawbacks of traditional Step In bindings. The Supermatic is incredibly fast and easy to use while accommodating regular snowboard boots, performing excellently in powder, and offering both comfort and high performance. The Supermatic LT is stiffer, lighter and more responsive than the Supermatic OG.

The main reason to choose a Step In binding is the speed and simplicity of strapping in. With the Supermatic binding, you simply slide your foot into the binding and press down. To exit, pull a lever (Release Lever) and remove your foot. No special boots are required to use the Nidecker Supermatic; you can use regular snowboard boots. Getting in and out of the Supermatic is really easy. Learn more below about all the features that make it so convenient: Asym Hadron Reclining Highback, Hybrid ExoFrame Powerstrap, Active Strap, Heelcup Roller, Heel Pedal, Release Lever, and Slip-N-Grip Plate.

The Supermatic features a full strap (Hybrid ExoFrame Powerstrap) that evenly distributes pressure across the foot and is comfortable. You can adjust the strap size to fit your foot. If you get stuck in deep powder, you can also secure yourself like a traditional snowboard binding thanks to the LSR-Buckles.

The Supermatic offers fast and robust forward and backward response while providing a bit more flex laterally. The footbed is padded to reduce vibrations and prevent slipping within the binding. If you're looking for a snowboard binding that’s as quick and easy to use as ski bindings, you should check out the Nidecker Supermatic.

We recommend matching the stiffness (Response Rating/Flex) of your snowboard, bindings, and boots to achieve the best performance from your gear. Ask us if you need help!

See the video below where Nidecker presents the Supermatic.

Technical Information:
2.5° Canted Footbed: The base plate is canted at 2.5° for a more ergonomic stance during long days on the slopes.
Multidisc (2x4, 4x4, 3D, Channel): The binding comes with a disc compatible with 2x4, 4x4, 3D, and Burton Channel systems.
Asym Hadron Reclining Highback: The highback on the Supermatic is a reclining, asymmetrically molded nylon highback. It fully reclines to create the fastest automatic step-in system, making it easy to slide your foot in. The highback provides excellent support and comfort.
Hybrid ExoFrame PowerStrap: The Supermatic’s straps are designed to feel like two straps but are connected. This connection makes it easier to get in and out of the binding while transferring power more effectively without needing to tighten the straps too much.
Active Strap: To make it even easier to get in and out of the Supermatic, the Active Strap system is used. When you lower the highback, the strap also lifts, making entry and exit easier.
LSR Buckles: Locking buckles that can be set to your perfect adjustment and never need to be adjusted again or used as traditional snowboard buckles if you get stuck in very deep snow.
Heelcup Roller: Under the highback is a roller that makes it easier to get in and out of the binding and helps guide the boot into position.
Heel Pedal: The Heel Pedal, located at the heel, is a locking mechanism that is pressed down by your snowboard boots and locks the binding into place. The Heel Pedal is self-cleaning to prevent snow from interfering with the locking mechanism. There are three locking positions, which are indicated by clicking sounds.
Release Lever: To exit the Supermatic, press the lever and pull your foot out of the binding.
Slip-N-Grip Plate: The Slip-N-Grip Plate is a glossy and slippery plate on the footbed that makes it easier to get in and out of the binding.
