The Alternator is a very quick and stabile snowboard for long and lovely runs all over the mountain. It’s the perfect boards for long carves, powder, side hits or dropping cliffs. The Alternator is an directional snowboard with a Trüe Camber profile which gives it a lof of pop, response and stability at high speeds. The Dual Degressive sidecut and the Powerlite Core gives a lot of edge control and makes initiating turn very easy.The Alternator is a combination of the Nitro Banker, Mountain and Team. In other words it’s a very fast, stabile and versatile snowboard with great float in powder and a lot of pop.

In North America it’s trendy to ride directional boards for freestyle riding. The Alternator is the team favorite in that regard.

The board is waxed and tuned at the factory, ready for the mountain!

Dual Degressive Sidecut: This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro ́s most forgiving sidecut.

Snowboard binding - Nitro Fate Off White S
Fate is the most versatile All Mountain binding in Nitro's range.

Fate is designed for stability, comfort and long days all over the mountain. The base plate (Stealth Air) is lightweight and provides quick response with 3 ° tilt for a more ergonomic position that saves legs and knees. Fate has air dampening to absorb shocks (Air Dampening).

The asymmetrical highback provides the perfect combination of support and response for all types of riding. The ankle strap (3D Optiframe Flex Strap) provides great support and a sure foothold without pressure points. The toe strap (Ubergrip Toe Strap from Vibram) is made of recycled rubber that fasten the toes and provides a firm grip without any pressure points. The size of the binding can be adjusted in the heel.

Nitro Mini Disc 2x4 & Burton Channel – Natural flex
The Fate is equipped with Nitro's mini disk which leaves more room for dampening and it’s compatible with both 2x4 and Burton Channel. A smaller disk reduce the mounting surface, which minimize the bindings effect on the boards flex.
AIR – Absorbs shocks
Air dampening in the heel to absorb shocks when landing. Perfect dampening even if it’s cold temperatures.
Reinforced connectors – Reliable
The connectors are infused with a steel cable to withstand high pressure and make sure that you will always be able to ride down to the valley.
Asym Highback – High response at every direction
The Asym highback is Asymetrik and offers a lot of response both vertically and horizontally. The inside of the highback is covered with EVA for a snug fit that will secure optimal grip in the heel. The forward lean is adjusted with the help of a screwdriver to ensure it can’t break.
Stealth Air Baseplate – Quicker response and adjustable
Stiff and responsive baseplate. The size of the baseplate can be adjusted with the help of a screwdriver.
3° canted baseplate – Comfortable riding stance
The baseplate is canted 3° and will reduce the pressure on your knees and allows you to ride longer.
3D Optiframe Flex Ankle strap – Even pressure
Molded ankle strap for a snug fit without pressure points.
Übergrip Vibram Toe Strap – Optimal grip
The toe strap is made out of Vibram rubber for minimal slippage and comforting fit.
