Snowboard – Bataleon Placebo 164W
The Placebo is something out of the box from Bataleon. It’s a snowboard without 3BT. In other words, it’s a traditional snowboard, but an exceptionally good one.
The Medium Camber profile and Super Tubes gives the board pop and power on the edge, while the reinforced core (Light Core + Carbon Stringers) makes it feel stable even at high speeds whilst charging it with a very snappy pop.
It offers plenty of response, feels very quick edge to edge, and delivers great precision when carving. The Placebo is packed with pop without affecting the tortional flex. It’s the perfect board if you want to do a bit of everything on a single snowboard, as it feels right at home on groomers, pow and in the park.
Placebo Wide is a wider version that suits you with larger feet. With a wider waist, you minimize the chance of your toes or heels catching in the snow during deep turns.
The snowboard is waxed and tuned at the factory, ready for the slopes.

Directional Twin: The nose is extended 1 cm to give the board better All Mountain properties. The bindings are centered on the board, twin shape and flex.
Profile:
Medium Camber
A traditional camber that gives pop, stability and power to the edge.
Construction:
TRI AX LAMINATE: Fiberglass reinforcement above and below the core. Gives the board a stiffer flex with ultimate strength and response.
Light core: Core of 50% Swiss paulownia and 50% poplar. Slightly heavier, but stronger.
Super Tubes C.S.T: Reinforcement in the middle of the board to give better pop but avoid torsional rigidity.
Carbon Stringers: Reinforcement of carbon strips to provide better pop and strength.
ULTRA GLIDE S: Sintered base, second fastest! This base thrive when waxed.
Step Down Rails: Sidewalls woth a lower profile for more precision when turning.
