Snowboard - Nitro Quiver Cannon 163
One of Nitro's most specific powder boards!
Nitro Cannon is a powder monster with its Progressive sidecut and 163cm length. At least that was the idea until riders like Sam Taxwood and Marcus Kleveland started using it in the halfpipe and on rails. It has a Tapered Swallowtail and Cam-out Camber which makes it playful and also allows for really aggressive turns. Extra long with extra pop!
The Nitro Cannon is a lot easier to ride than it looks!
The Cannon is part of the Nitro Quiver Series, a small collection which experiments with different shapes and profiles. The line was developed by the team rider Bryan Fox and Nitro’s founder Thomas Delago.
The board is waxed and tuned at the factory, ready for the mountain!

Area of use:
Freeride - It's a fast powder board with really good float that allows you to make aggressive turns on both piste and off piste. The Cannon is much more lightweight than you might think and is fun to ride in all weather and conditions.

Our most versatile flex pattern, combining Nitro’s signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to tear up the entire mountain. The scale is built on the principle that 1 is "Soft and Playful" while 10 is "Hard and Responsive".

Tapered Swallowtail: Big nose and short tail which gives you a good float in pow but at the same time able to make aggressive turns.
Progressive Sidecut: A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The progressive sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.

Cam-Out Camber: Our Cam-Out Camber is basically a Trüe Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing!

Powercore II: The Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivalled strength, smooth response and insane snap.
Bi-Lite Laminates: Our rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board- feel.
Standard Core Profile: Even flex and control
Sintered EcoSpeed HD Base: Utilizing a recycled material compound, we have been able to achieve the same abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and on-snow speeds with our Sintered EcoSpeed HD Base as on other comparable sintered bases.
Wax: All NITRO boards are factory-tuned with Kandahars 100% Natural Speed Wax, a fully Bio-degradable wax made of renewable resources.
Sustainability:
Eco Guard Topsheet with material that utilizies post-industrial recycled material at a 90% rate.
Eco Poxy 33 is a an environmentally enhanced epoxy system with over 33% of products molecular structure derived from plant and vegetable matter.
Water-based incs for over 70% of all topsheets
Wood from responsible sources (FSC certified)
All edges are made of 50% recycled steel
Over 85% of all running bases are made using recycled raw material
Eco Speed Base with base material that utilizes post-industrial Ptex materials at an 85% rate.
