Splitboard - Nitro Alternator FX 152
Nitro Alternator FX Splitboard is developed with inspiration from Nitro’s versatile snowboard, the Alternator. The goal was to create a versatile splitboard that can handle all challenges, an All Mountain Splitboard.
The Trüe Camber profile provides aggressive and powerful turns with pop for jumps, add to that Carbon Tape in the core for maximum response and control. The Alternator’s traditional shape and Directional shape make it a true all-rounder in the backcountry for those who see the entire mountain as their playground.
The Alternator FX Split fits perfectly with the Nitro Vertical binding, but it also has a Insert System that fits most major splitboard binding manufacturers on the market. T-7075 aluminum hooks are included on the board to lock the nose and tail together.
The Alternator FX Split has pre-drilled Inserts for Nitro Alternator skins for quick and easy mounting. Of course, if you prefer universal skins, they are also compatible.

Flex: All Terrain 7/10
Our most versatile flex pattern, combining Nitro’s signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to tear up the entire mountain. Flex 1/10 is soft and playful whilst 10/10 is stiff and responsive.

Dual Degressive Sidecut: This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro ́s most forgiving sidecut.
Profile:
Trüe Camber: Trüe Camber is good old standard camber, which provides the stability, and pop many shreds can ́t live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. Our Trüe Camber varies between board models because each board is specifically designed for a certain terrain or type of riding, for example the Trüe Camber in our Pantera has a larger height for maximum response, while the Trüe Camber in our freestyle boards are lower to provide you with a more freestyle friendly flex, without losing the support and trust you need for stomping landings. Camber is Camber there is no point in over complicating it!

Powerlite core: The highest grade of ultra-lightweight poplar wood in our Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.
Bi-Lite Laminates: Our rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board- feel.
Carbon Tape: Carbon reinforcement fibers are ultra-strong yet lightweight. Tip-to-tail stringers transfer rider’s input to help you drive your board and stay in control.
Sintered Speed Formula II Base: Rocket science put to work! A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into our sintered base material makes the base surface lightning fast in all snow conditions. Highly tuned yet extremely durable, SPEED FORMULA II Base technology is exclusively featured on Nitro high-end boards.
Wax: All NITRO boards are factory-tuned with Kandahars 100% Natural Speed Wax, a fully Bio-degradable wax made of renewable resources.
Sustainability:
Water-based incs for over 70% of all topsheets

All edges are made of 50% recycled steel
